NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Review + Benchmarks and Temperature
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Review + Benchmarks and Temperature: This is our full review to the newly released NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1.25GB Video Card including specs, features, benchmarks and temperature. NVIDIA launched their GF110 chip in the form of the GeForce GTX 580 just a month ago which was basically a “fixed” GF100 chip with some improvements. It is a great card with lower power consumption and higher performance than the previous generation GeForce GTX 480 but with the EOL of the GeForce GTX 480 card there was a gap between the GTX 580 and the GTX 470 in price. If you might remember, NVIDIA launched the GTX 480 with 480 enabled CUDA cores. At the same time they launched a second card, the GeForce GTX 470, with 448 CUDA cores, which meant it had one SM (Shader Multiprocessor) disabled. Logically, the second chip in the stable, the GF110 could also have a SM disabled to form another card, and that is today’s launch, the GeForce GTX 570 card which is to the 580 what a 470 was to the 480. The chips used on both cards are identical and the feature set of the two cards is the same as well. Make sure to sign up for our free newsletter

@TheIndianPython or EVGA precision
@TheGowerPower1
Should I upgrade my GTX 560 ( non-ti ) for this?
@SentToPrison I’d just get a second 560
@TheNewbity
Gtx 570 Superoverclocked
Intel i5 2500k+ noctua nh-d14
8G ram
ASUS P8P67 EVO should be a fine
@xRevelations1 as long as his board is capable of sli. if not, a gtx 570 might be a good choice.
@TheNewbity id stick to to an am3+ with bulldozer MB. it should be much cheaper and provides enough gaming speed at a lower price. 16gb are too muc i guess, 8 are fine. with this cash you should consider getting 2 gtx560 ti instead of one gtx 570. still your system would be top notch. (except for metro 2033, since in dx11 it remains a beast…)
I’m a console player but I’m moving to pc just for arma 2 does anyone know a good setup for that game if I want to play medium/high with decent fps?
@cssdoritocss
i5 2500k , hd 6950 , 6 gb ddr3 1600Mhz ,
just hold out until maxwell
It’s definitely a great card, mine is the EVGA GTX 570 HD SD, I mainly use it for Microsoft Flight Simulator X which is more CPU than GPU bound, I can see how it uses all its power while running the program and just uses 40-50% of the available memory and temps go as high as 70ºC and as low as 41 in idle with 35ºC of ambient temp… the card has 2 fans and I only dislike thats its a bit noisy with fans runing at more than 50% of the maximun RPM.
@MsUnchart get the z68 chipset instead.can always do ssd caching if you have the budget in future.
I now know why he’s so fidgety… Coke nail 0:23
I have a 570 and i7 3,4ghz and I get some stutter and lagg spikes in bf3 you know why? plz answer
my 570 temp is on 78 while playing bf3
wow, didn’t know this had a great rep… I just ordered a cyber powerpc with this card and am so excited now.
gtx 260 ftw 50+ fps in bf3 high settings.
in the review “This is our full review to the newly released NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1.25GB “
@TheAzeDK i had 560ti and i5 3.3 quad, and i played it nicely without lag
Would this play Battlefield 2 on max settings?
@ApplicationAndroid Lol a ATI 4670 would run BF3 on low settings
@ApplicationAndroid I get to run Battlefield 3 max settings with this, don’t know about battlefield 2, it’s such a graphics intensive game!
@Dirxano Ok thank you and I meant to say Battlefield 3 and will it also run it in 3d?
@ApplicationAndroid Don’t know about 3d, it would probably drop some fps.
@Dirxano What about if I get triple monitors, that aren’t 3d?
@ApplicationAndroid Drops some fps in games like Crysis 2 or Battlefield 3, but with high resolutions I suggest you get the 2560 mb version of this card by EVGA, so your card won’t have memory problems.
