So true there, amazing bang for buck.
Same performance as a 8800 GTX, and those were very expensive when they came out.

i would go with 4850 has more memory better memory speed only lower gpu speed which u can overclock at least for 50mhz

  9. Yoda8232 says:

Yeah since the HD 4770 is in low quantity the HD 4850 is a good replacement. The only problem is for people with weak PSU's.

  10. rastderb says:

well u mean for watts or for connection?

  11. Yoda8232 says:

Yes the HD 4770 uses a lot less power than a HD 4850.

  12. ThePurcy says:

4770 beats the 4850 on call of jaurez bound in blood by a few fps

  13. mellovicious says:

    lol indeed!

  14. Yoda8232 says:

Hmm I'm surprised, must make serious use of the GDDR5.

  15. declaration963 says:

This video card can play crysis smoothly at 1280 x 1024 also this card as same as 9800 GT in performance.

  16. OneShotTenKills says:

That's definitely wrong, the HD 4770 is 14 to 17% in everything.

  17. declaration963 says:

yes if you benchmarking HD 4770 vs 9800 GT in 3dmark 2006.

but many game was build to Nvidia GPU, that explain why AMD ATI GPU slower than Nvidia card.

  18. Theredbaron16 says:

Which is better version of the 4770 the powercolor or Sapphire?

  19. Yoda8232 says:

Both are the same, just different names. Same clock and everything. Check out the warranties I believe both of them have 2 year warranties. I'd just go for whatever is cheaper.

  24. Edsan91 says:

Great benchmarks and awesome card Im thinking of getting this or the 9800gt which should I get? I want the best for my system and My final choice is between both 9800gt and HD4770! I heard u said On fear2 u got 32fps which does seem a bit weird Ive heard alot of games run perfect on nvidia gpus but on ati ones hmmm so so… Anyways which should I get! The 4770 Ill admit is an amazing card for the price. But I want the best! So 4770 or 9800gt?

  25. Yoda8232 says:

HD 4770 is much better, but for the price now you can find HD 4850's for cheaper than HD 4770's so go for that.
